Last Wednesday, 30 Molesworth students headed to the New Norfolk Swimming Pool to participate in our 2025 combined swimming carnival trials with Collinsvale Primary School.

The sun was out, and we had such a beautiful afternoon at the pool with our two school communities. It was amazing for them to team up, challenge themselves, and enjoy some friendly competition. Some of the students recognised familiar faces from our combined Cross Country Carnival in Term 3; it was lovely to reconnect.

Some of our students were competing at their first-ever swimming trials. For others, it was their second or third. Our students participated in the following events: 25m and 50m freestyle, 25m breaststroke, 25m aquatic underarm, 25m backstroke, and the greatly anticipated 25m noodle race.

A huge congratulations to all swimmers on their efforts and encouragement of each other!

Forms will be sent home with students who successfully make our interschool Molesworth team. They will compete in the SPSSA Division F Swimming Carnival being held at the Doone Kennedy Aquatic Centre on Monday, November 10^th. We wish our team the very best of luck!
