MORNING FITNESS
Last week saw our Year 6 Morning Fitness leaders running physical activities for their first time in 2021! We would like to congratulate all of the Year 6 Morning Fitness leaders on their fantastic job during their first week. Here are some thoughts from students from each of the four different morning fitness groups:
Blue Group – fitness on the top oval & dance in the hall
- I enjoyed ‘just dance’. In particular ‘don’t let me down just dance’ – Maddison B
- I enjoyed everything! – Krixus
- I liked the ‘just dance’ videos because I know how to dance with it and how to do them – Henry A
Red group – dance in the hall & activities on the bottom oval
- I enjoyed helping the younger kids with tail tag – Charlotte D
- I liked running the relay race – Lacie J
- I enjoyed running! – Jett W
Orange – activities on the court & fitness on the top oval
- I liked the star jumps! – Heidi A
- I enjoyed working on my fitness – Lila B
- I like everything in morning fitness! – Archie S
Green group – activities on the bottom oval & activities on the court
- Everyone was cooperative. The older kids helped the younger ones. – Maia D
- I liked mushroom tag with the younger kids! – Ella B
- I enjoyed playing octopus – Sonny H
