3-4 has been very busy  this term testing out how forces and energy works in our Science experiments of late.  We have built marble runs to turn the pull of gravity into moving energy, tested the buoyancy of objects, made magnet race tracks and floating magnetic compasses, elastic energy powered boats and even flying helicopters! 

Our focus has been on observing how things work, problem solving to make them work more consistently and seeing what happens when we make changes to objects and comparing them. Curious minds and looking closely when observing make for good scientists.

Any of these experiments could also be tried at home too.  Any budding scientists can report back to Mr Hay with what they found out.
