PRINCIPAL'S REPORT
FROM OUR PRINCIPAL MRS LEANNE SMITH
Thanks very much to all the families who dropped in this morning to share in their child’s literacy learning. There were lots of fantastic conversations, sharing and creativity happening in all classes as I visited during the session.

As the weather is starting to improve during the days we are continuing to collect lots of jumpers in lost property. Please check that jumpers are clearly labelled so we can find the owner when they are lost.
If your child is in Grade 2/3 or 4/5 you will have received the latest excursion permission forms electronically. It is great to see so many returned so quickly. Please keep an eye on your emails or through the SZapp app for any notifications so we can reduce the use of paper and make our communications as effective as we can. If you are having any issues please contact the office and they will help you out.
A reminder that at school we do not have chewing gum. There have been a few students who have been bringing gum and sharing it at school. Please keep gum at home for out of school times. Thanks.
Lots of fantastic house names have come in from families. There is still a couple more days to get your ideas in as it closes at the end of the week. What do blue, green and red remind you of?
A reminder that our school survey is now open and we welcome all families to share their opinions of our school. All information is confidential and helps us with future planning as we are always looking for ways to improve. Please see article in this newsletter.
