As we head to the end of the last day of Term 1 for students I would like to wish everyone a very safe and relaxing holiday.

While the sun has continued to shine many classes have taken advantage of using the beautiful outdoor spaces and fresh air to learn outside the classroom.  Most days I see groups of students working together out on the steps, the seats out the front or on the comfy artificial turf between the buildings.  My Hay has even taken music classes around the trees in the playground.  This is yet another example of the supportive learning environment all our teachers offer to your children.

If you have not yet heard of it, it’s a craze that has taken over the world.  It is a quick once a day game to work out a 5 letter word – I love that it brings out the wonder of words with so many.  Well now we have a Molesworth Wordle craze.  The Prep/1's have been trying out the 3 letter wordle game and the older classes the 4 and 5 letter games.  This morning when I visited the Prep/1 class to say good morning there were children everywhere with iPads trying to solve the 3 letter puzzle, including students that had popped in from other classes. 

A huge thank you to all families for their support of this years’ Easter raffle, for the donations and the selling of tickets – another great success with 14 very happy people taking home prizes, including Deb from our bus who took out first prize.  All money raised will be used to purchase ribbons for our carnivals so we can continue to offer our place getters the beautiful Molesworth PS printed ribbons. 

It has been another very big term for all at Molesworth, I thank each and everyone one of you for your contribution, support and positive attitude with the constant change of living with COVID.  We are such a great team, which gives the very best schooling to each and every student.  Enjoy family time (remember tomorrow is Moderation Day which is a student free day) and we will see everyone back on the 2^nd May ready for another exciting Term of learning here at Molesworth.
