DRILL DANCE COMPANY VISIT
On Monday 4th April, we had a visit from Isabelle Stone, the artistic director of DRILL Dance Youth Company, one of Australia’s leading youth dance companies for a try at contemporary style of dance! Their mission is to create meaningful contemporary dance experiences, which unite it and strengthen young Tasmanians in our community.
Each class had a session with Isabelle and had a go at the contemporary dance style. There was a lot of laughter, sweaty faces and by the end of each lesson each class had completed a contemporary routine to music!
We would like to thank Isabelle for coming and visiting us at Molesworth! This was her first time out here and she was really impressed by our students.

Here are some of our favourite parts and moves from our contemporary dance session:
- Ellis – I liked the staircase move.
- Tess – I liked melting.
- Mitchell – The superhero pose was my favourite.
- Jett – I liked the group dance!
- Ava – my favourite move was melting.
- Bryce – my favourite move was the staircase.
- Lila – I enjoyed melting and thinking about other things that melt.
