Wow, Week 7 is already half way through.  Only three weeks until term break.  Thanks to all families who continue to support the current guidelines around physical distancing.  With the early introduction of Stage 2 we are hopeful that Stage 3 will be in place ready for Term 3.  We will let all families know of any changes as soon as we are informed.  Continue to stay connected to your child’s class and teacher through Seesaw.

 Some wonderful examples of learning shared via seesaw this week:

• The Kinders have been busy completing self-portraits on wood ready to be displayed in the kinder playground.
• The preps were looking at the letter P and Finn found lots of items around his house.
• Some grade 1/2's were busy planning a new town while Adam published his own board game.
• The grade 2/3's shared their wonderings for today – “I wonder why Miss Gourlay is setting up for PE on a Wednesday? and “What is a good sport?, just to name a couple.
• The grade 3/4's have been busy settling back in with Mr Hay and completing their bug art.
• The grade 4/5's shared who they think are real super heroes.
• The grade 5/6's have been reflecting on the book Holes.

 As we head towards the end of term teachers are busy preparing a brief report of your child’s learning in English, Maths and Wellbeing so far this year and their future learning.  The midyear report will be sent home in the last week of term and will look quite different to the usual report.  At the moment we will not be having parent-teacher interviews but you are more than welcome to contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.
