WHAT'S HAPPENING IN PREP WITH MISS J
The Preps have been investigating what makes things Fizz, Foam or Pop. We made some bubble mix and observed how the soap and water mixed together to make the outside skin of a bubble that held the air until it popped.
Here is some of our thinking and observations.
- Chelsea The bubble couldn’t hold the air and it popped.
- Grace: Wherever I walked or turned the bubble disappeared.
- Kailee: If you blew a little bit hard it popped.
- Esther: You could make lots of bubbles. It was incredible.
- Archie: The bubbles didn’t always pop when they hit the ground as the bubble skin stayed strong.
- Nick: The air makes the bubble inside the soap and water.
- Henry: I figured out my finger opened the air inside the bubble.
