Last Thursday 31^st March, a team of 45 of Molesworth greatest athletes hopped on the bus bound for the Hobart Domain Athletics Centre. When we arrived, we were the first school there and it was pretty special to be able to run a practise lap lead by our 3 sport leaders around the 400m track before the other schools arrived!

It was the coldest interschool carnival we have had in our recent years but that didn’t deter our young athletes who represented our school superbly! I want to say a congratulations to each and every one of these students, they tried their very best in their events and it was a joy to watch them compete. The encouragement and teamwork we had in our team was amazing. Listening to the final scores on the day, for such a small school we finished 5^th and were only 7 points away from coming 4^th. An awesome effort!

A massive thank you to Mr Peter Jelkic, Mrs Mandy Richardson, and Mrs Laura Duncombe for volunteering as our school officials. Thank you to our school community for being out there with us encouraging our students!
