On Monday the 5^th of June, 8 students from grade 5-6 represented our school at the Youth Climate Leaders Conference 2023.

Ziva, Ellis, Olivia, Charlotte, Joseph, Freya, Seth and Haley listened to key note speakers and experts in climate science, including a presentation from the Young Australian of the Year recipient, Toby Thorpe.

After joining in workshops with mentors in climate science and sustainability, our students developed a climate action plan that they hope to enact in our community in the coming months. We can’t wait to help them facilitate their actions and are inspired by their ideas so far.
