On Thursday 5 December, we held our Kinder to Year 6 Athletics Carnival. The afternoon started off fantastically with our sprint races, followed by our sack races and then the lower primary’s chicken throw and upper primary’s obstacle course. Unfortunately half way through these events the heavens opened and it just absolutely poured down so we had to stop the carnival! The following week on Monday 9 December, we finished all of the events in our PE sessions.

Well done to all our students who participated in our carnival. It was great to see so many of our students having a go and supporting their peers, which is what PE is all about!

We would like to say a massive thank you again to the parents and carers who came to support our students in the wet conditions, the New Norfolk High School student sport leaders and prefects who assisted us on the day with the events and the pack up and to the Year 6 students who assisted in the setup up.
