ELECTRICAL SAFETY WEEK COMPETITIONS
Electrical Safety Week ran from 4-8 September 2023 and raises awareness of the hazards associated with electricity. It also teaches students how to be safe around electricity.
From now until Friday 20th October we are running 2 competitions for schools and students in line with Electrical Safety Week. Both these activities can be completed at school or at home.
Competition 1 SAFETY STORY:
Grade 2 - Grade 6
Choose one of our safety topics and write a short story on how to keep safe in this

- Water and electricity don't mix.
- Don't play too close to powerlines.
- Don't use damaged powercords.
- Never play with powerpoints.
- Stay away from danger signs.
Competition 2 COLOUR ME IN:
Kinder - Grade 1
Choose one of our safety pictures, colour it in any way you like. These pictures will
be the illustrations to our safety stories.
