Last night Lisa presented another thought provoking presentation about how children develop their neural pathways to support the development of those executive functions of problem solving, emotional regulation, reasoning  and resilience.  Two great messages she shared were about giving child time and space to feel an emotion, approaching with empathy and supporting them to own their emotion and think about how things could be different next time.  Thank you to the families who were able to attend last night even on such a rainy night.
