Today our classes across the school from Kinder to Grade 6 enjoyed reading the picture book Bowerbird Blues by Aura Parker as part of the annual National Simultaneous Storytime event.  She read her book live to over two million students across Australia.

In our classes students enjoyed listening to the story, hints and tips of being an author/illustrator and went on to participate in art activities linked to the book such as making their own bower sculpture, just like the Satin Bowerbird does.
