HOCKEY TASMANIA COACH VISIT

Yesterday we had a visit from two Hockey coaches, Martina and Belen from Hockey Tasmania. Despite the cold weather, we had an awesome day! Martina and Belen are Hockey players from Argentina who are currently playing with a local Hockey Club this year here in Tasmania. It was so fantastic to have this experience for our students. Martina is also a PE teacher from Argentina.

Martina and Belen brought along hockey sticks, balls and shin pads for us to use. We discussed the safety precautions you need to think about when playing hockey. We further developed our hockey skills and played some new activities and games. Next week we will have another visit from Hockey Tasmania and we will learn some new hockey activities that we are all looking forward too! Thank you Martina and Belen.
